We come across many people in our lives...knowingly or unknowingly they capture some position in our lives. Some become friends, some become good or even the best friends, and some become someone special...ha...there are many...
But there are some people who carve such a niche in our life that without whom our life seems to be complete but in our deep we know that it is not.
A Walk To Remember is a love story of a girl...Jamie Sullivan of about 18…having unflinching optimism, a very kind nature & a faints but yes, a sweet smile that directly makes its way to your heart, & a boy...Landon Carter of same age...little arrogant, prodigal, a dweller of worldly world.
Only God knew what was that, Jamie finds something good (or fascinating?) in him. She tries to befriend with him. But soon she finds she was wrong in judging him.
On the other side, Carter’s views change completely by one incident. And before knowing what the love is, he falls in love with her. She becomes his inspiration, his life and everything. The love story starts...
Soon they complete their schooling and a bitter truth comes Landon’s way which shatters his life completely. He never knew that the God loved Jamie more than him. Yes...Jamie had Leukemia. He felt like he is dying. He had never imagined a life without her and now….
But he recovers himself...he had to. It was the time to prove his love. He decides to fulfill all her dreams, wishes...each and every. He wanted to be with her for each and every left moment of her life. He wanted her to dress in each and every color of joy. He wanted...
He marries Jamie. Though he knew that the marriage is going to be fugitive, he wanted even that fleeting canoe to be their life time memory. On the other side, Jamie was thanking the God thousands of time for blessing her with such a lover who had wrapped all the joy that she would have had in her whole life, in just a single moment.
With her hands full with his evergreen memories, Jamie says goodbye to him.
“She was right”, he murmured,
“Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceit. It is never rude or selfish. It doesn’t take offense and is not resentful.”
P.S. Please don’t get any impression that I am in love. I am not. I even don’t think one should be in love to feel this story. And one more thing, this is no way an attempt to review the movie. I liked it and felt like writing something about it. It is based on the novel written by Mr. Nicholas Spark and is directed by Adman Shank man. So if you get time, do watch the movie. I am sure it won’t be waste of time.
